Our Servers
Our servers are located in a secure facility in North America in order to
assure fast, reliable and secure connectivity to the Internet 24/7. Our
connectivity comes from four physically distinct 45 megabit
connections, each from a different provider. In addition our data
center has industrial grade uninterruptible power supplies backed by
Diesel power plants, which can be used in the event of a prolonged
power outage. Our servers sit behind a firewall and intrusion detection
system. A non-liquid fire suppression system is in place, and human
personnel are on-site 24 hours per day monitoring network conditions.
Our HardwareWe have an Enterprise class server with multiple processors, and many gigabytes of RAM. The server has multiple hot-swap power supplies - each attached to a different physical circuit, large hot swap fans, and 10,000 / 15,000 RPM SCSI disks which are hardware RAID mirrors for performance and fault tolerance running on duplexed adaptors. This is much more reliable than many servers which are a 1U server with tiny fans, non fault-tolerant disk I/O, and a single power supply.Our servers are very fast, and are able to handle multiple functions efficiently |
